The traditional exhibition Stone and Jewel in Český ráj is held during the first July weekend on the square of Český ráj in Turnov. A period marketplace and cultural programme are to be found here; you will encounter demonstrations of gem-cutting and jewel manufacture, you shall have the opportunity of panning genuine Czech pyrope, and, what is more, you can watch knights’ jousting contests, conjurers and musical productions here.
