You may set out on many excursions in the surroundings of Rakousy. There is Český ráj in the south and in the north there is the area of Jablonecko and Liberecko - two gateways to Jizerské hory. Dlaskův statek, a popular tourist destination, is located nearby and the chateau of Hrubý Rohozec is also worth seeing. The ruin of Zbirohy Castle is situated close to Rakousy.
